After the Awards each year, we invariably receive inquiries from entrants asking what they could do to improve their entries for next year. Our competition isn't set up to critique individual entries and entrants, but Peter Eastway, the Chairman of Judges, publishes a program called 'How To Win Photo Competitions'.
Peter is also the publisher of Better Photography magazine (the original Australian edition). His magazine's Better Photography Photographer of the Year competition provides individual feedback on every entry and the feedback system is based on a series of PDF eBooks and online videos. We think this advice could be helpful for many of the entrants in this competition as well.
